Ministry Update
Dear Friends,
God has been very faithful to us and we have been very busy here in Brooklyn! As you know the area we are in, Sunset Park, has a very large Chinese population (possibly upward to 50,000) and it is continuing to grow.
We have now expanded our ESL school and are currently holding classes in 2 locations. Our attendance has tripled and it has covered the costs of the rent, Chinese teachers and secretaries. Every step we take where we are willing to obey the Lord in faith, HE provides!
Our after-school program has also exploded this year and we are currently tutoring about 150 students per day with their homework and basic English.

We are currently holding 3 growing Bible Studies each week! We see a tremendous need here and believe that God has allowed the Chinese to come here specifically to present them with an opportunity to meet HIM. We already have one girl who is serious about giving her life to the Lord and wants to be Baptized!
Acts 17: 26 “God set for them the exact places where they should live, so that they would seek him and perhaps find him”.
Please pray for us that we will be unhindered in our efforts to do God’s work here. God bless you for your prayers and support. We are also in need of finding a new building by the end of June, as our lease on one of our current locations runs out by then and we need two facilities to hold all the students for our summer program.
Romans 10: 14 -15 “How then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news’ “
